Hi,
I have been receiving my RM pension for some years and live mostly in Thailand but, since Covid, have been in Laos P.D.R which is across the Mekong River from Thailand.
My problem is I will receive my UK Gov pension in October and I have been trying to get information from RMSPS, via email, only to be rebuffed on every occasion. They say they need more information for 'security purposes' when I supply what they ask for they ask for something else. Eventually they have just replied with a single line response ' your request does not pass our security requirements'. They have stopped requesting further information, basically just ignoring me.
I have never received a P60 or notice of increase in pension amounts, even when I have emailed to request such information. I would like to know if there is an Ombudsman who deals with RMSPS because I have had enough of being messed about.
Any information regarding contacting a relevant Ombudsman would be very welcome. Thank you.
Prem

Re: RM Pension Ombudsman?
If contacting the RMSPS via the normal channels doesn't work, you can:
1. Go through their complaints procedure. Although you're required to do that by post, which may be a problem in your case. https://www.royalmailsps.co.uk/contact- ... -complaint
2. Contact the Capita CEO direct, which some people have done with success(see other threads). A quick google suggests it's currently Jonathan Lewis.
3. Complain to the Pensions Ombudsman. https://www.pensions-ombudsman.org.uk/

Re: RM Pension Ombudsman?
Thank you Robert for your very prompt and useful reply. As you mention, using the postal service from here in Laos is not really possible. However, I will pursue the other two suggestions. Thank you very much.
