Going back a few years I got my first monthly payment end of the month following my birthday and the lump sum just after my 60th. It took 12 weeks to process. Capita are always slow. For example rmpp have sent me notification of my pension rise and p60 for the tax year ending and capita ( rmsps) have done neither .

You should get the lump sum on or near your 60th birthday, allowing for weekends and bank holidays, etc.
The pension itself, should be paid on the last working day of each month.

I can only suggest you contact them as soon as possible to find out what's going on.

I've had no dealings with Capita myself, but they are obviously not fit for purpose and I too hope they lose their contract. Which I think is up for renewal in 2024.

RMPP bid for the contract last time, unfortunately for them and us who has the misfortune of dealing with Capita.
Over the last couple of years they’ve been less involved & to a greater extent have passed responsibilities over to RMPP.
Hopefully it will be a smooth transition to giving it up for good :thumbup

I've not had my pension increase letter or P60 from Capita either, although I have had both for the part that is dealt with by RMPP.
I applied for my NRA60 pension 4 months before my birthday, it took weeks before I got the papers but because I'd acted early enough it did come through on time, although as I recall it was paid on the last working day of the month of my birthday not on the actual day.

That's when they are all paid.

I wouldn't leave your job until the money is actually being paid into your bank account as it could be delayed leaving you short.

Turned 60 at the end of April, waited patiently for the lump sum, nothing arrived, phoned them up, they said everything was in order and the lump sum would be in my account in 2 or 3 days, waited patiently, nothing.

Phoned them this morning and they're now telling me they haven't received my paperwork and they're going to have to send it out again. It's beyond incompetent, they're saying it will now take 6 to 10 weeks for the money to come through, unbelievably bad service.

I haven't received any forms yet. Haven't had any mail for weeks. How ironic if my Royal Mail pension is delayed because of useless Royal Mail.

They accept returns by email. Plenty of free software that converts a picture to a PDF.

There must be some way of taking legal action to shake them up.
