Pension Investment payment

Post by thelastsuspect »

Question for Robert or for anyone else that might know, Can you still get the pension investment lump sum payment if you get your pension and leave before the new pension starts? not sure what it's called but I think it was around £800? Any info on what it's called and how you claim it much appreciated.

Do you mean the £750 payment for financial advice when taking your NRA65 benefits?
If so, it should be paid automatically!

This LTB gives more info: https://www.cwu.org/ltb/ltb-533-18-750- ... -payments/

There are a few threads about it on this forum, which you might be able to find using the search function.

Many thanks Robert, wasn't sure what it was called or how you claimed it. Thanks for the info.

Hi Robert,

Is it payable if you have recently left RM (IE Last November)

Many thanks

I think it's a case of having to take your NRA65 and leaving RM at the same time. Although I seem to remember someone on here being told you could still get the payment up to a maximum of 13 weeks after leaving.

Either way, it doesn't really help you.

I have read some of the other posts on this and it appears you might have more chance of winning the lottery than getting this!
