The Courier

Post by Sprite »

I was ill health retired about 10 years ago and I was just wondering about the Courier newspaper. I used to get it every month until it stopped a few years ago. It seemed to stop around the time of splitting the pension from Sheffield to the wonderful Statutory Pension Scheme in Darlington. I do believe it has now gone quarterly.

Any idea what has happened? Do you still get it for pensioners and how?

Cheers

They were online, then they weren't, now they are again, although only now for 4 times a year.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I would say you should get yourself a hobby in retirement rather than thinking about the courier.

The printed version (published July 6, 2021) was dispatched a few months back. It seems this online version took a while to be available for download. :nervous
