What happens to pension if you're sacked?

Post by RobertT »

I have a friend who has been suspended for not delivering their D2D's and is probably facing the sack and possible fraud charges!

Does anybody know what happens to his pension if he gets the boot?

The same applies with your pension if you were sacked or left the business...frozen until 60/65 with rises with RPI each year...

I think you get all your money back if pension held is less than 2 years.

Go to http://www.royalmailpensionplan.co.uk/3 ... he-company" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which should give you more information.

I am assuming of course that this person is a member of the Royal Mail Pension Plan as opposed to the new scheme.
