Pension went up today.

My monthly pension was almost £10 more this week. Any ideas why.? I wasn't expecting an increase in September

You're lucky if you got £10 more! I just checked and I got 20p more than last month, I don't know why.
Edit: I'd guess it's due to a HMRC tax adjustment.

I got the usual letter today showing increase I received this month but no explanation. I am not sure if its a one off or a regular payment. Before I ring them has anyone else experienced an increase out of the blue in their pension? My worry is if the can increase it without explanation maybe they could decrease it. You never know with this crappy company.
So question is has anyone had a increased or decreased pension for no given reason ?

Have HMRC changed your tax code without telling you? I recommend downloading the HMRC app onto your phone if possible. Its a really good app for keeping track of your income and PAYE tax paid.
