Re: 2024 Pension Statements
Received my RMSPS today. Already took my 60 so this is the NRA 65 estimate. Now its closed to any more contributions, only a annual rise to add I have a clear idea what to expect... ( not a lot )

Re: 2024 Pension Statements
I have had the same issue with emails - it is almost like they put a system in place to stop you contacting them - hoping you will give up.theargyspy wrote: ↑10 Dec 2024, 20:00I emailed them 10 days ago, no answer, I emailed them again four days ago, they replied today saying they needed more info, My full name and my pension number despite the fact I had sent them both in previous emails, this afternoon I recieved my statement in the post, it was on a letter so presume it was sent out in response to my first email 10 days ago.. boy are they are hard work, why couldn't they have replied 10 days ago and told mem they would send me a replacemnet statement![]()

Update They did send me a deferred statement.tractorboy2 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2024, 09:32I didn't mention previously that I'm already receiving my Age60 benefits.RobertT wrote: ↑10 Dec 2024, 10:40It sounds as if you left around the same time as me.tractorboy2 wrote: ↑10 Dec 2024, 08:02I emailed the RMPP asked when I might receive my annual statement , told them I left 18 months ago.
They responded "A full tax year must pass before your annual statement can be calculated and you can expect to receive your first statement in September 2025"
Are they having a laugh this will be 28 months after I left and only 14 months before I would be due my Age65 benefits.
My experiences since I left RM are:
RMSPS:
Sent me a Preserved Benefits Update around 8 weeks after I left, which included all those benefits as one amount and not separated into Age60 and Age65.
I received my first deferred statement 2-3 weeks ago, which I believe to be incorrect and am waiting on them to get back to me on that.
RMPP:
Didn't automatically send me a Preserved Benefits Update, and only did so around 6 months afterwards, when I asked if I'd be getting a deferred statement.
I've emailed to ask when this years statement will be arriving, but am still waiting for a reply.
Their Preserved Benefits Update clearly states they'll send a statement 'every year'.
I enquired to both RMSPS and RMPP around 12 months ago to ask if I would be getting a deferred statement, and they both said they don't send them out unless you've been a deferred member for 12 months when they dispatch them in September.
Therefore I see no logic in what they're saying to you.
Needless to say if they try that on me, I'll be reminding them of their previous correspondence!
The RMPP are going to send me a deferral statement.
I received a statement from RMSPS a couple of weeks ago , so don't really understand where the RMPP are coming from.
We haven't added to it personally for years and I haven't added anything to the DBCBS for over 18 months.

Can I ask, did you get a RMPP 'preserved benefits update' shortly after you left with a run down of your pension as of that date.
And you've now had a RMPP statement for the year ending 31st March 2024, despite being told you wouldn't get one?

As to the second , it is not saying it is up to year ending March 2024.
It reads as if it is what my benefits are worth right now , because it says I don't have to do anything unless I wish to take my benefits early.
I can't find the one they sent after I left , to make a comparison , though I have it somewhere.
