and therein lies one of the fault lines of a Market driven system. Another one is he dependency on a finite energy source. There are dark days ahead I just hope they are far enough off that the politicians can start to take long term policy decisions for the good of all, rather than the short term "get us past the next election" ones they are taking at the moment.

That's one of the reasons Gordon Brown is introducing Personal Accounts in 2012.All workers will be automatically enrolled if they're not already in a pension scheme,although you will be able to opt out!

With the part time workers though comes, eventually, the part time pensions - you lot just keep paying in though I don't want to be going short in my ever increasing old age
