Turned 60 at the end of April, waited patiently for the lump sum, nothing arrived, phoned them up, they said everything was in order and the lump sum would be in my account in 2 or 3 days, waited patiently, nothing.

Phoned them this morning and they're now telling me they haven't received my paperwork and they're going to have to send it out again. It's beyond incompetent, they're saying it will now take 6 to 10 weeks for the money to come through, unbelievably bad service.

An update, I've still not received anything from Capita, phoned them up again this morning (6th time) to be told they had sent the forms out again last week, not received them, she had the cheek to say "give it another week and if they don't show up, we'll send them out again".

I'm a patient type of person, not prone to ranting and raving but these clown shoes would test the patience of a saint, they've had the forms since February, decided to escalate it to an official complaint, absolutely ridiculous service.

Capita winning the contract was a huge mistake

I think the RMSPS contract is up for renewal in 2024. Hopefully the RM PSC will bid for it and win!

Was 60 in May , Paperwork sent back in start of May after receiving quote 3 days earlier.
Got a letter in Middle of May saying I filled My Lifetime allowance in wrong , I did fill it in as the Royal Mail pension plan help line told me to .Phoned Capita up had to refill all of the forms and sent back by email, still nothing
No Tax free payment, no monthly payments for May.

There must be some way of taking legal action to shake them up.

People should lobby their MPs. The CWU should start the ball rolling, but I wouldn't hold your breath. It doesn't affect me yet, I hope they sort it before it's my turn.

Where is the CWU in all of this ? 35 years contributions for what ? My previous quote, send everything special delivery and you at least have evidence they have received the paperwork. My guess is the are employing work from home people who probably watching morning TV and an afternoon movie.

I was 60 last week - Capital have been a nightmare - still no payments

Nine weeks past my birthday now, just off the phone with Capita again, to be told the money will be going into my account on Friday.

I've done two official complaints, each one I was told I would get a resolution within ten working days, absolutely nothing from them.

It's been quite stressful to be honest and I have little faith they'll get it right this time.

I feel for anyone else who's being messed about by theses clownshoes, phone them at least twice a week and be a pain in the *rse for them.

Delay after delay with Capita when I took my NRA60 3 years ago, several phone calls and emails and still got no where. Thanks to someone who posted on this site a contact email address for the then CEO Jon Lewis I got a reply from him within 24hr and a further email 24hr later from his next in line. Within 1 week money was put into my account. Apoliges I don’t have original email address but hopefully someone else might know it ?

If anyone does have the CEOs Email it would be good to post it to help others who have to go through the whole incompetence saga in the future.

The answer is go straight to the top, complain to the main man/woman and things get done.

Until I contacted him Capita were not progressing with my pension. It was sorted two days later!
