Your death in service benefit will drop.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I’m toying with the idea of PT three day week.
I’ve contacted Capita and RMPP and they both said I wouldn’t loose what I’ve already accrued.
Any future payments would change if I go PT as in pro-rata.

Regarding the future, would my pension only be pro-rata or are there any hidden “penalties”
Thanks
As CCR has already pointed out, any death in service payments would be less going forward with the new CDC scheme.

If you're building up less pension for yourself, the pension you leave to your spouse(assuming you have one) on your death, will be less.

If IHR or VR ever come along, those payments would also be lower than if you're full time.

Thanks for your replies, both of you 👍🏻
I thought the death in service would be a pro- rata type of deal, wasn’t sure about the VR one though.
