MR Barber

Post by postie75 »

TUC GS Brendan Barber stated a decision to call off strikes at least until the new year to provide "A PERIOD OF CALM" for BOTH sides so they could reach a LONG-TERM DEAL,then said that securing a "FINAL DEAL" remained a long way away.Like most people on this site we just want to know the deal and judge for ourselfs if this is the right thing for us as a union to do at this time.myself i`ll just need to try and sleep on it tonight(hope i don`t have nightmares),but a few months ago RM would not even give the union anytime of day plus as MR Barber said "A FINAL DEAL REMAINS A LONG WAY AWAY".LETS STAND TOGETHER AND NOT ROLL OVER we may not get what we want but we`ll give them a good f**king fight. :cfo :mfo
