In our sequencing centre someone has to spend up to an hour a night typing in issues & downloading and recording figures into a Daily Report. In addition stops and breakdowns have to be entered on to another spreadsheet and the whole lot e mailed to the Sequencing Planning team and others.Over the last few months the amount of computer work has gradually increased.
Is this part of the operators duties in all sequencing centres ? In Gatwick where there are I think 8 or maybe more machines this must take a dogs age. We've only got 3 and it takes long enough.
