Last arrival in January 5.20am
We've been told that from January, due to the mail now coming by train and not air, the last arrival at our mail centre will be 5.20am ( currently it's 3.30 ish). We finish at 6.15am. That doesn't leave much time to unload and process the mail. Anyone heard anything similar at there mail centre and if they could be changing our times? Don't fancy starting close to midnight if that's what they have in mind

Re: Last arrival in January 5.20am
if its going to arrive by train ,then it should be all in yorks / trays .
therefore no bag tipping so slightly quicker to get it preped for sorting .
do you have an early shift ,if so they may be tasked with sorting and dispatching ,so no need to change night shift start / finish times ,may just inpact your office dispatch times to your delivery offices .

Re: Last arrival in January 5.20am
I hope your right. Yes we have an early shift that starts at 6am. I work in the locker and the work that comes by air takes about 45 mins to process. I'm thinking they will move us 30 mins later otherwise it will be too close to get it done.
