HGV Class 1 Driver

Do Royalmail still open vacancy for HGV class 1 driver ? Been waiting for 3 months and still nothing news . I heard from people who work inside saying to get direct into class 1 roles you need to start with MGV 7.5t/LGV 2 first and work for 2-3 years is it true ?

Always a class 1 job going on success factors. Right now there is 4 jobs, Gatwick,Northampton,Chelmsford, Nottingham. Search for LGV in the keywords for class1 and MGV for class 2 and below.
