I`ve heard it all now! It would be equally ridiculous for RM to pay for the Polish workers to learn English, especially in these times of supposed cost-cutting by RM.
Even if I go on holiday for a week I try and learn a little bit of the lingo. If I was going to emigrate I`d certainly learn the lingo first, we should expect nothing less from those coming here.
I seriously doubt they are given any sort of test as regards knowing sufficient English to be able to do a job in RM. From what I`ve seen they are basically given a hi-vis vest and off they go.

If they can't speak English then I doubt they can read it - sooooo - the high vis vest should have "Take me to the nearest Airport" on the back.
