My transfer was a mutual compromise due to a medical condition. I am far from angry. I'm not being critical or defensive. I have posted on this site because I like the discussion and debate. Unfortunately, I have quickly realised that this is most unlikely to happen. This is mostly because of a handful of posters who dominate this site. If you fail to agree with their, highly extreme militant views, you are bullied abused and ridiculed until you final stop posting completely. My original post was intended to open up discussion on this subject. The thread has now been taken over by an argument, that is turning into name calling, on TPM training and you questioning my career history. I can honestly say the only posters in this thread, who have contributed to the actual topic, are: Flashman, Moon71, Biggins, Semacsorter and Tman.dvbuk55 wrote:I was merely surmising a problem as you had intimated the transfer wasn't voluntary. Because it wasn't voluntary then perhaps your judgement is a little bit jaundiced. I have never called a manager a screw in any of my posts but I would say your are atypical of the "angry young man", critical and defensive.
Could you be implying that MC staff doesn’t work for a living? Hey, you just do what you’re supposed to do. Let everyone else do what they want!dvbuk55 wrote:I can only say that in 20 years I have never set foot inside an MC, an MC Gymnasium, an MC Shower room, an MC Canteen or any other facilities that are considered necessary for MC Staff that are totally alien to those of us used to working for a living.
Yes, I am concerned about my work. No, these things are not my responsibility. Yes, I am doing as I am supposed to. Yes, I am letting others take care of what they are supposed to. This still doesn't stop ME posting a thread to question the aforementioned behaviour! YOU don't have to read or contribute to it.dvbuk55 wrote:PJ it is obvious you are concerned about your work but if these things are not your responsibility then just do what YOU are supposed to do and let others take care of what they are supposed to do.
Again, you don't have to read or contribute to it.dvbuk55 in response to Lovejoy's ignorant post wrote:As ever LJ succinct and to the point![]()

I was trying to be nice about it, still that's me all heart.
I might have used flying before the expletive though.
Who says we aren't paid to show initiative? I believe the more initiative we show the safer and more secure are jobs are. There is nothing wrong with showing initiative, it doesn't mean you're subservient or a willing horse. I've never said we should work for free, work faster or work harder. I just think we should be working while we are being paid to.dvbuk55 wrote:Well that's a lesson learned today PJ, but don't take it to heart, let those who get paid for it show the initiative.
