MDEC RESPECT

Post by de-coded »

There is a rumour today that Plymouth Mdec Manager today was overheard saying "people could easily be replaced with monkies as the job is so easy"

So much for dignity and respect at work, his core values for working at MDEC, usual double standards maybe.

It's a comment that was made a few years ago, and before I joined the MDEC. I don't know when he said it, but it's been talked about for quite a while.

Hmmm...

1. He did say something along those lines some years ago - hence my Avatar
2. I would be very suprised and annoyed if he has said it again
3. If he is around today I will ask him and let you know

GOOD LUCK TO US ALL
It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.

Well, why don't they just empty every zoo in the land and employ the chimps?
It's the same as the dozy set of sods we've got 'managing' our office. "You're not on ban money considering it's unskilled". This from a set of idiots who would never be managers anywhere else and who in my time working for Royal Mail have had two sacked for being light fingered, one who went off with "stress" for two months because he put in for a job which ended up being given to the SOMs best mate instead of him, and countless idiots who have spent years being shunted around the North West because they are incompetent and can't stay too long in the one place.
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!

I am informed (by a relaible source) that he did not say it (again).

It was indeed said at least once. It was a long time ago and when the Nightshift was logged out to receive an audience with the MDEC Manager.
I have no power but my vision and my voice.

Royal Mail has immense power and 99% of the Management is blinded by it.
