Strike?
Are you guys involved in any of the shite going down?
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

damned right we were out in 2007! if we actually got included in the ballot more often we'd no doubt be out. Here's hoping that nationally we get a get enough resultTrueBlueTerrier wrote:MDeCers DG - but don't think they are - give them their due though they went out with us in 2007disgruntledpostie1 wrote:What shite?![]()

it's the system - though DO staff are always at the sharp end of it & bearing the brunt of it - it affects other staff tooTrueBlueTerrier wrote:MDeCers DG - but don't think they are - give them their due though they went out with us in 2007disgruntledpostie1 wrote:What shite?![]()

Damn I missed that strike. You didn't get any grief or extra pressure from the powers that be, did you?jonn wrote:damned right we were out in 2007! if we actually got included in the ballot more often we'd no doubt be out. Update
I wonder how many from Stoke MDEC will strike on the 22nd October?
Quite a few union members have already told me they are NOT striking. Given the ballot, it looks like a lot of people will vote "yes" but fail to "walk the walk".

Re: Strike?
given the mdecs history it wouldn't surprise me,if anyone had the presence of mind to watch news night last night then maybe they would change their mind.sadly though even though they vote yes, people cant be bothered to follow through with it all in the end just because of loosing a bit of money and not actually doing what they voted for in the first place.i mean what was the point in even joining if your not going to strike, thats the whole point, to support your union, yet i bet they still want a job an the fact the the union are fighting for that and a list of other stuff doesn't seem to enter some peoples heads...its all too easy to let someone else do it.

Re: Update
We will see. I'm not going to comment on what people have told either their work area manager/shift manager. When the time comes we will see who "walks the walk"AzerothAlsagerKid wrote:I wonder how many from Stoke MDEC will strike on the 22nd October?
