but i wasnt there 18 months ago, oh well....
having now read afew post im seriously worried about posty attitude
got a job that pay 7.71/hour +weird and wonderful payments for completely UNSKILLED WORK
ive had many many jobs that pay more and pay less and this is the second easist job ive ever done.
reading some posts from the cut off cut off gang stagers me...im very happy to do over time....its aint rocket science its very easy money.me thinks some have forgotten just wot a real jobs all about.stand on the end of a machines for 8hrs at minium wage,sound better?. wow you lot are right ,i good moan does help..

but seriously,i cant complain,only about some of the clowns i work with.....its lucky for them its unskilled work(barking)

Well perhaps you should read those same posts again. What most complain about is their treatment from management, not the actual job itself.

I do overtime but I do it voluntarily and when it fits in with my family life, the main complaint is that so many DOMs are forcing people to do overtime through pressure or threats.

I agree it is a well paid job and when out of the office its a good job, its just a pity that management cant seem to make changes (which are needed) without trying to bully people or call us Lazy and Overpaid like AL and AC did before the strikes last year.

By they way as a new postie you wont be aware that the strike was not over the pay rise but the strings attached which would have meant doing 20% more work for £35 less a week. Perhaps I could suggest that you research the cause behind the complaining before you pass judgement on us all.

started november the 5th and ive got to say this is by far the weirdest set up for a business ive ever seen...
local agreement,wot to do with your chirismas tip,priority list for holidays.......mental..
and i could have a very good rant about those ones

at chrimbo i was told to hand in all my tips by the supivisor/first aider/union rep(all one man)and then they would be pooled and split..fair enought so far...but ive only been there 2 months so ill get one sixth.....

ummm perfectly legal for me to keep it all or hand it in for 1/6th the split..

well being honest i handed it in but next year
oh and its cause he doesnt have a perminent round so he wouldnt get anything,but this way he does

No that's wrong if you get an Xmas tip I think you should keep it. I and most on here did, apart from a cut to the guy who covers me on my day off, but that's my choice I am not forced to do it.
