royal mail taking the you know what!!!!!!!

Post by jasper »

i work up to 45 hours a week on my round. im now being told ive got to work another half an hour a day.
it sucks, to me it is taking avantage of the fact that i was willing to complete my round daily.
i will now be working my contracted hours only, it will be interesting to see what happens when i start bringing mail back to the office on a aily basis.

Welcome to RMC jasper :wave
A couple of questions friend
Why are you working 45 hours a week on your duty? i guess your walk is to big to complete in the given time. Why has something not been done, like your duty made shorter,or you are kept off the IPS.

Make sure when you start to work your contracted hours you tell your Dom or line manager that you may not be able to complete BEFORE you leave the office. If you then bring back mail at the end of your duty you have covered your arse from a willfull delay charge.

Apart from that enjoy the site, stick to the rules  and spread the word friend :Very Happy cheers

Loads of advice on here mate about working correctly. But whatever you do don't call it a work to rule, RM and the CWU don't like it and it can be deemed as unofficial Industrial Action. crazy ain't it.
