Been a postie a month now

Post by NewPostieUK »

Hi all

I've been a Postman for about 5 weeks now, and I quite lik eit. It was hectic leading up to Christmas, but plenty overtime! Things seem to be settling down now, and I can see what it's really like.
There's still lots if things confusing me, but hopefully I'll have my questions answered on here (after searching first of course :) )

Thanks very much. I'm sure the honeymoon will be over in three months lol but it's the wages that will define how much I enjoy the job. I'm part time you see, and the wages don't even cover my mortgage. I'll be able to get by for a little while, and hopefully go full time.

I'm enjoying the exercise, and looking forward to the day that I'll actually stay dry throughout my walk!

Cheers.

:Applause Welcome to our real world. I hope your stay will be an enlightening 'Zen-esque experience.
This forum is the reality centre of the job, the expectations and the pitfalls.
As a student you will learn many aspects of the buisiness and gain wisdom on your winding path to true enlightenment.
There are many Guru's in your workplace some will be attired in a blue shirt. These 'blue shirts' are the bedrock of the system and the streets are your battleground.
In your workplace temple live many gods. Some may be obvious due to thier attire others a lesser known.
This path of learning will lead to many rewards. Some rewards are digitally placed in a safe place and will appear on a parchment full of figures and numbers. This is a reward of gratitude from those unseen entities who you may never know
Beyond the temple you return to each day there lies a higher spiritual plane.
It i inhabited by two God's. One is called ALAN LAZYTON & A-DUM DOZZIER.
You must worship these divinities every single day.

It is now time for me to go. I wish you all good fortune in your daily tasks.
