Hello everyone, from sunny Leicestershire where I'm on lates.
I've been a postie for nearly nine years - long enough to care - and it's sad to see everything being wrecked from the top downwards - it feels like those in Senior Management feel like the Government isn't destroying Royal Mail quickly enough, so they're lending a helping hand themselves.
Who's voting YES for 2.5% then?
PostiePete

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

My missus is on the piss with Adam tonight...
...seriously! She works for a big posting customer and is at some mail-related bash tonight. She phoned me earlier, she's already spoken to the MD of UK Mail :Confused and is getting pissed enough to go and harass Crozier.
Remember back in March when they banned us from ordering uniform (because of the "need to reduce non-urgent spend")? The next day my missus was getting pissed at Royal Mail's expense at another one of these corporate jollies - £2,500 a table, Royal Mail had taken 2 and were sponsoring the event. She was sitting on one of Royal Mail's table next to some RM high-up - boy did she give them some s**t about the uniform embargo!
