Hi All,
I have been working with RM for nearly 5 years as an OPG in a small town office.
i recently went on stage 2 then shortly after had an accident at work and will trigger a stage 3.
i need some advice on what poss outcomes could occure or advise so im ready if it does.
i have spoken to my union rep and have documented meetings phone calls etc.....but would like to hear of anyone who has been through a stage 3.

There is no way to sugar coat this - I am afraid everything is on the table from your dismissal to all stages being revoked. If the Accident on Duty has been recognised as such that should actually be discounted and stop the stage 3 being progressed.
Ideally what ever your condition is you are under OH Assist and if so you can at least say you are taking steps to improve your medical condition and as a matter of course your attendance will also improve.
You should also check out to see if your condition comes under the Equality Act (formerly DDA).
However, the best advice is to do plenty of research and keep in contact with your Area Rep and be guided by them.
