I'm not a postie

Post by Rains »

I've had a paper round, delivered parcels, read gas and electric meters. All involved walking and watching out for that thing that will bite, trip, kill, or otherwise get you one way or another! Never been a postman. Think I may have like the job though, apart from getting up early, trapping my fingers in letterboxes, carrying anything heavy, and getting froze, sunburned, and soaked to the skin! Not to mention the biting and tripping ect.

I actually work in a call centre and talk to many Royal Mail workers on a daily basis though.

Well that's the naff intro out the way. :cuppa

I'm actually here to take. :nervous I want to take away some of the interesting things that happen to you in your jobs, back to my own place, or better still a volunteer or two that tell it like it is with other non postal workers - yeah I'm spamming on my very first post  I only want to take stories and anecdotes back that isn't work sensitive or liable to get anyone in trouble.

Not sure I can give much or anything in return to this site and its members, for any help, that I'll say right off! :nana

I am a forum junky though, and will waffle anywhere that lets me. :whistle
