tracked parcels
Does other offices do what we have to do, we have to take up to 10 tracked parcels between each pair of park and loop, the size of these parcels seem to be getting bigger which means one of use has to deliver it in the van which takes us longer, this in turn makes it harder to get the specials done meaning we have to cut of to get them done before 1pm. Then we find the parcel van has been to same house as the one we had a tracked for

Re: tracked parcels
We have to take all tracked, recorded, specials etc no matter what size.
Me and the driver take a little time before we leave to make sure we don't have to make attendance calls at the same addresses

If you've got park and loop then why also the parcel van ?beezet wrote:Does other offices do what we have to do, we have to take up to 10 tracked parcels between each pair of park and loop, the size of these parcels seem to be getting bigger which means one of use has to deliver it in the van which takes us longer, this in turn makes it harder to get the specials done meaning we have to cut of to get them done before 1pm. Re: tracked parcels
It's not rocket science is it?You write your list of
Oversize parcels and then double check with your
Other parcels to see if you have any double ups.
Then you band them together to save along two
calls to the same address! To save even more time
put the letters for the same address in the bundle.

Re: tracked parcels
you must have a lot of spare time to spend going through all the parcels, our rounds were not made an smaller, we had hoped to get bits taken off our rounds to do all the parcels but they were left the same and the trackes but on us, so we still need a parcel van as we dont have enough time to do them all.

Re: tracked parcels
To be fully open and frank I have not yet been P&L'd. However the walks that have been have to take out all their tracked and large packets for the addresses they are going to. Of course if they have more work then time available then they won't be going to every address.
