SEWBC Rochester
We went out 16.30 on unofficial action after one of our drivers refused to go through the unofficial strike at east london, our management refused to pay him for the whole afternoon and were to suspend him if he refused to do it today. So last night we all walked out, over 100 on the gate all day today unfortunately a handful of staff got in
but no lorrys went to customer collections (bulk mailers) and only a handfull of lorries which were driven by Maidstone And Tonbridge Managers got out after they called the police and had us removed from their path. Today they offered us new terms and conditions to return to work we told them to shove em, talks continue tomorrow.
