Hello there,
I was offered a conditional offer for a postman job and I would be given a start date after pre employment checks, now my question is how long does this take, it's been a week now and I still haven't heard anything. Sort of need to know when I start so I can sort other stuff out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Pre-employment checks
There is not set time unfortunately I have seem it take as little as 5 days and as long as a month/6 weeks - it all depends on how busy Disclosure Scotland and the other agencies are. Average seems to around 2 - 3 weeks so hang in there.
