Hi guys,
Ive applied for a mail sorter position through royal mail and another job through angard.
Having completed my tests it says pending tests when i log in.

Any idea what that means?

Probably means the next step is to do some tests? I think the tests are done online these days

Just had an email from royal mail saying ths,

Thank you for applying for the above vacancy. We are sorry to
have to tell you that due to unforeseen circumstances this vacancy has now been withdrawn.

If you wish to search for other vacancies or change your personal details, then please visit our website which gives you the opportunity to sign up for job alerts, and will notify you by email when another vacancy in your area arises.

When i login to my account it says application unsuccessful. Im a bit confused as to whether it says that because the vacancy was removed.

Yes more than likely - the status of live applications probably defaulted to unsuccessful when the position was withdrawn.

I had a similar experience so I think TrueBlueTerrier's comment is correct. Having said that my next application was successful so don't be put off by this
