Elementary Mail
As a hybrid-mail web start-up (With a Royal Mail business account) We would be very interested in any feedback or suggestions from the community regarding our new online mailing solution/platform, Elementary Mail?
We would also be happy to share any experience we have gained as a newbie's to the mail industry.
I guess my first question is, am I able to include my company's website URL in my posts, or is this considered advertising?

You use Royal Mail (for the time being anyway) so you're all good.
Can you give us a gist on how your operation works?
Would I be right in saying you have a collection with us,you print the stuff off,we pick it up and so forth?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Hello We Are...
Yes that's right
As you say we print/publish any material created on our website and then it's delivered by yourselves at the Royal Mail. It's by no means a new concept obviously (hybrid-mail) but the new trend in online greetings cards seems to have revived the industry.
Again any feedback from the community would help us identify in what situation our service would be of best use to people.

Re: Hello We Are...
I've tested doing a card with Safari and Chrome and the preview does not show the text I type.
No doubt you're aware the Pigeon and the Pig can do a hell of a lot more and have I would guess cornered the market.
The likes of Docmail are also cheaper for the letter part as well.
It's a tough business to be in,good luck with it.

Re: Hello We Are...

Always happy for feedback. I just downloaded the latest version of Safari, but didn't have the same problem.
"The Pigeon and the Pig" like it! It sounds like the title of a new Nickelodeon kids cartoon
Allot of our competitors either just focus on greetings cards or deal mainly with business-to-business orders. We aim to offer a consumer geared service for the everyday person.
Tough business, but if our service solves a problem for somebody it's well worth it.
