I was involved in a high impact RTA and have been off work for 3 months. Although I have fulfilled the Royal Mail Sick Pay criteria, My Dom has stopped my pay. Can he do this even though I have worked for 9 years? What can I do?

Was sent for 4 physio sessions which did no good, instead aggravated the pain. She said I was ready to go back to work in 4 weeks on a rehab programmer but as I got worse and was on more stronger medication due to the pain I could not go back and was given a sick note from my GP and sent to a NHS physiotherapist. Still in a lot of pain and have a lot of sleepless nights due to pain. Called the union rep on Thursday and friday still waiting to hear from him. My dom is a bully and is trying to force me back to work and since he did not get his way he has resorted to bullying tactics.

Get referred back to ATOS. If they say you are not fit for work, then you are not. If they produce a rehab plan it must be agreed with them, you and your manager. Be warned, if you fail the rehab plan you could be in danger of losing your job. If they have stopped your money get the CWU involved and take out a grievance against your manager for victimisation. I wish you all the best, and take heed what ATOS and your GP say.

If you fail the rehab plan it's the rehab plan that failed.
