Back working for Royal Mail

I was a postman for over 4years and left 2009 to look after my children. Was on a 33 hour contract and now have gone back to a different office on 25 hour fixed contract for 3 months.

I have heard my old manager has taking up the managers job there.

Im wondering what the overtime payments now are as i am joining back atthe rate of pay i left on.

And whats withthe fixed contracts? Is this new procedure tonot hire full time?

Feel as if i could roll on and on and onon a contract and not know what im doing from one month to the next

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
