Re: hello
Welcome mate,spread the word.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: hello
Hi there fellow posties,
I am 25, worked at RM for 7 years, 6 months part time 32hrs, 6 and a half years full time, 40hrs at a very small rural DO in the yorkshire dales , I am one of only nine employed there, and we are all local to the area, the office supports 2259 delivery points, has 2 foot duties and 5 van duties. I have my own rural van duty consisting of 320 delivery points and I have the pleasure of delivering to my own address and the village I grew up in as a child near by, most of my customers have known me since I was born. I consider myself very lucky indeed compared to some out there and I really did land on my feet when I got the job, though it still doesn't stop me moaning about the powers that be wanting to ruin it all but that aside I am proud to do what I do.
Things in my personal life have changed recently and I am considering moving to Paignton in Devon and in need of some advice about a possible transfer to the devon area, the offices I am looking into are Paignton, Dartmouth, Brixham, Torquay, Chudleigh, Bovey Tracey, Teignmouth and Totnes. If there is anyone out there who works at any of these offices I would really like to know what the rounds and working environment is like and if there are any full time vacancies going spare?
Many thanks,
Rob.
