Hi all.
Had an Interview for Postman role today (25 hours per week - 3 month contract), but forgot to ask about holiday entitlement.
How does this work?
Do I get a quarter of Total annual leave (eg 22 divided by 4) per 3 months?
Apologies if this is already in a thread somewhere else. I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

Welcome Templeton - I don't think anyone has asked that question before TBH, but your suggestion sounds about right.Templeton wrote:Hi all.

It's a complicated question.
You should legally be entitled to the statutory minimum which would be 28 days divided by 4...but then there is the Bank Holiday issue.

Re: Annual Leave for 3 month contract...
Annual Leave entitlement is 4 weeks for first five years. Temp 3month rolling contract would be 0ne week for every 3 months worked. So if you are released after 3 months you would get 1 weeks pay if you lasted 6 months and had no leave then you get 2 weeks pay and so on.
