Are you talking to "The strike breakers"

Post by jess the cat »

Just a quick thought. Now we are all back to work 1 week after the first strike. Have any of you started talking to the few that went to work instead of being on the picket lines? We had 7 go in at our office, 3 have now joined the CWU and 1 hasn't got a full time contract. ( I don't blame him for going in although Royal Mail said it wouldn't affect his position, but i'm not so sure). I know 1 scab at another local D.O who went in who can't drive (ban) no longer gets his (own) bike dropped off to him like he did before. Keep up the good work lads and lasses. Maybe Alan and Adam will share their Xmas bonus with us this year after all. Jess. :cfo :lfo

Hopefully the 3 that joined up will join you on the picket line next week.

Don't have that problem here, we were at 100% office - No strike breakers on us.

We were scab free, but if we hadn't I wouldn't talk to them. We must have some standards.

we had 9 go in 5 non union members 4 who were in

and ive sent the lot to coventry (sorry coventry)

had two guys sign up and they stayed out and a few non-members stay away

what really pissed me off was last saturday the strike breakers were chatting to guys who stayed out like nothing has happened hope the guys that stay out still feel so chatty when they opened there wage slips yesterday

give all strike breakers the silent treatment treat them like they treated us on friday

this is really hard for me, cause the worst scab that we have in our office has actually been a good mate for a long time.

Still, cant be choosy, so since last week I have slagged the s**t out o him and told him hes an outsider and always will be.

Unfortunately, since the word go he has been destined to go upwards to RM manager status..........................Had a slagging match with our Stand in Manager today where he thought he was being smart and saying that he would always find someone to come in and work.

I told him that ............. (name censored) to be nice and protect him I will only refer to him as scab, as I said told him that scab would come in and deliver all the walks for him. He is so efficient that next week he wont only be running, jumping fences, dumpin parcels at doors but that for one week only he will probably be jumping over the houses so he can go fast enuf to deliver everything.

Happy days............ I will just have a well earned rest on my deck chair on my picket line

There is now a scab hot line if they wanted to work on Friday (daytime). the number should be

0906 7888 7888
----- SCAB SCAB

Don't know what the real one is because I don't need it.
