I am the industrial editor of the Guardian and the Observer and would be very interested to hear from anyone who works for Royal Mail about anything which you think should be put in the public domain which isn't out there already. In particular today I am trying to confirm reports that in London yesterday, RM used agency staff and contractors to deliver post to help clear the backlog. Does anyone know of this happening in their area and whether RM plans to do Sunday deliveries - using non unionised staff - on a regular basis? Other aspects of modernisation or ways RM is planning to handle the strike are also of interest.

We need journalists to research the present situation and not just to rely on heresay and the clamouring of people who "will be adversely affected". We are fighting for our business a lot harder than our employers are and at the end of the day the public whether they support us or not will get exactly what they deserve.

I would just like to say it makes a refreshing change to find a journalist who takes the time and trouble to research the story he/She is reporting on.
It is so easy to just read what has already been written and just put your own spin on things, but a true journalist puts in the work needed to
get the real story and in so doing a better story.Hope you get to the bottom of what's happening in Royal Mail because someone needs to before
it's to late and another Great British Company is allowed to be Decimated in the name of Progress.
