Hi

Good to see the vote for 'Yes'. I'm not a postie but a member of the Socialist Party in Stoke and hope to be helping in the campaign more.

Thanks,
Greg

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Thanks. I'm sympathetic 'cause everyone uses the service, my granddad was a postie in Kidsgrove and this kind of thing is going on in all other areas.

Which Socialist Party Greg? The SPGB or the old Militant?

Old Militant of course! Without getting into sectarianism, but I don't think the SPGB do any sort of campaigning.

You could have picked a different name though. Just to avoid confusion with the non-Trot comrades.

Well we are socialists and are a party of them, so it kind of fits. :Very Happy Plus when speaking to people, they just confuse us with the SWP; no one, other than people on the left, seem to know of SPGB.

That's most likely because you share the distinction of being turfed out of the Labour Party for being socialists.
