Good evening everyone this is rhino49 signing in from the manchester postcode area - A delivery postman for 12 years with sore feet and a pent up frustration at the way that our current batch of directorial misfits are throwing away the finest postal service in the world. It's future is our responsibility and it's success is our livelihood - we are here for the long haul, not flitting in , taking a slice and leaving for a more lucrative part time directorship somewhere else. We know how it works and what it needs and shouldn't be told what to do and threatened by people with no moral interest in our business or any concept of what customer service means. The board of directors and our contract managers only see the "big bucks" suppliers - what we know, that they appear to have forgotten is that we are responsible to 60 million plus domestic customers who know how hard their postman work to provide their service every day. Even Postcomm seems to have ignored them. The down stream access companies have now had 2 years of cheap access to our system - it is time to "put up or shut up"- set up your own network (you can't, because you aren't good enough) or pay our price for delivery and stop hiding behind the ridiculous arrangement that Postcon (deliberate misspelling) have forced on our business.

Okay folks - rant over, let's see what we can do from a position of power after thursday

Blimey Belly, you dirty great spammer. Its nice to see so many Sale people on here, we must be one of the most trodden on offices over the past 3-4 years, the bastards still owe us a grand in back pay from when they screwed us on SDD.

It was great to see our manager stomping around yesterday like a bear with a sore head, snapping and people who wanted to claim overtime, then just giving up after he got shouted out by a long serving posty.
