MODERATOR NICKS THREAD TITLE

Post by ex royalmail »

I moved into the CW7 are around 3 years ago not thinking that it was that bad an area. Instantly I noticed how slow the service was and how 10-15% of my post wasnt arriving AT ALL.

When i called the royalmail 0845 number they did nothing to help me, all they could suggest was that i contact my local sorting office, so i did and within a week i suffered a scratch the length my car, that when reported was nothing to do with the postman.

Over the post 3 years i have had over 8 debit / credit not arrive (its that bad that the bank wont even post them now so i have to collect from the bank) 5 cheque books, 7 paying in books, £120 cash that was (rapped in paper) and never signed for, car keys in padded enverlop never signed for, house keys in padded enverlop (special delivery) never arived, 2 mobile phones both sent years apart (special delivery), car wing mirror (signed for), camera (special delivery) again never arrived, 2 passports posted years apart never arrived, 3 drivers licenses, car road tax, DVLA wont post log books to my address as they never arrive, i have to go to my local office that 60 miles round trip because ive lost 7 log books in the post, a watch, i never ever get sim card but have recived the open envelope once for 02, nothing from amazon books ever arrives, amazon wont deal with me anymore, printer ink never came, utility bills sometimes dont arrive and last week i ordered my son a mobile phone off ebay and it was posted signed for and guess what? it never got signed for. the list goes on and on.

I am so upst with the service RM offer, i really hope the service goes under and they do close the post offices ive never had so much stuff stolen at any address then this. i have contacted customer services on there 0845 and all they can do is post tracking letters and contact the office manager who will again interview staff and then i will have to pay another £500 to get my car fixed after it gets scratched.

ROYAL MAIL STAFF ARE NOT ALL THIEVES

Post by TrueBlueTerrier »

A few things welcome but we are not all thieves just like all customers are not so please do not tar us all with the same brush,

Second if this is happening go to the police and insist its investigated. Call Customers Services and ask that RM internal investigation force investigate it. They are called the IB (Investigation Branch)

Third - This is a public forum and has nothing to do with Royal Mail, just that loads of us work for them so not sure why you complained to us, as though we are sympathetic to your plight, there is nothing we can do about it.

Fourth stop spam posting - 1 Thread for each subject and 1 post per statement not the multiple threads and clone postings.

Fifth - Royal Mail is two words.

Last of all please use punctuation it makes your post easier to read.

Perhaps the addresses on his alleged missing post were even more incomprehensible than this message with its lack of punctuation etc.

This has got to be a wind up - no one has that sort of losses unless they are being deliberately targeted as an individual or they are sharing a flat with a terminal junkie.

Having seen your description of what has gone missing, I suggest that it would be cheaper for you to move house to a more respectable area where your imagination can again run riot

I'm not to sure that the title should remain but it'll be up to the mods/admin.

The person should contact the police or IB (I'm sure Teebs will put up the phone number) and have it officially investigated after all he seems to have a bit of evidence eg. the missing specials, the banks not prepared to deliver cards anymore, the missing cash etc.
