RECORDERED DELIVERY LOSS
Taken from the website: http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump ... aId=500201
1. Your rights - up to £34 compensation and when delivered a signature should be obtained.
2. To make a claim pop into any Post Office (Crown would be better) or call Customer services on 08457 740 740. Lines are open from 8am - 7.30pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am - 2.30pm on Saturdays. However I would advise going to a PO as the Customer Service No can take a long time to answer.
If you have any other questions please leave a message on the board. But please don't forget this board has nothing at all to do with Royal Mail officially. We are a group of postmen and post women who have started this board for discussion and comment about Royal Mail. SO we happen to work for them but may not agree with them and our comments should not be taken as an official statement.
So to answer your questions:"\If you have an important item to deliver, our Recorded Signed Forâ„¢ service gives you complete peace of mind with proof of posting, signature on delivery and online tracking so you can follow the progress of your delivery.
* Proof of posting
* Signature on delivery
* Online tracking
* Up to £34 compensation
* Prices from 70p plus normal postage
With Recorded Signed For™, you get next day delivery with most First Class items. And if you’re an account customer, we’ll pick up your items from your business.
