Morning, I need to book a week off the first week of Christmas pressure for personal reasons. I have full cover but has been rejected. Where do I stand on this??

Unfortunately, without a compelling compassionate case, it would be difficult to get the 1st week of Christmas pressure off as that has always been a blanket ban in Royal Mail ever since I started. I did have 2 weeks off once, but that was due to my father's death.
In this case, I think the chances of getting leave for "personal reasons" is very slim, though if you are in the CWU perhaps a rep may be able to get them to change their minds.
