NO YOU CANT. The same as your interview couldn't be changed. If I was your potential new manager i would him you before you even started as you obviously didn't bother to tell this at the interview. It sounds as if you've got another job lined up and want to try it out first.....IT DON'T WORK THAT WAY. Make way for someone who really wants and needs the job.
