Hi ! , Well i work in a FPO here in Lancashire , As for working in a Franchise , you do feel like you in `limbo`...neither one thing or another ! , Looking forward to read what`s happening on the rest of the site here !

Glad to find another PO - our office is soon to be franchised to WHSmith and all of us are taking redundancy - cos no TUPE and WHS pay £5.65 - hope you get more in FPOs!
Is all that selling stuff as bad in your office as in ours?

Hi again ! , And thankyou for the welcome ! , Ok , i suppose it is safe to give my details out on this site so here goes....lol I work at Asda and the pay is £6.68 , and for a `good friday` you get £10.02 , So i suppose in relation to subs, maybe it`s not that bad...Although when the store opened, just over 10 years ago , We took over the `Main` branch office here in Skelmersdale...The only part of the Post office training i`ve `fought` against is the `forced selling` of loans and the like , i told the `trainer` that came, that i felt uncomfortable doing it & if i`d wanted to push `products` like that onto customers...I would have joined a bank !...So if there is anything you like to know about `what`s it like` in a franchise , just ask & i`ll try to help if i can !
