When you were at work you ruined industry as you went over the top with strikes and it was not the only reason as the government/business failed to invest in new technology and were beaten by foreign rivals who had products people actually wanted to buy.

The workers are being blamed for all the 70's failures when they were only part of the problem.

I work flat out from the moment I start work until I finish which is sometimes more than my time and I don't get a break and you are telling me to work faster.

You are ignorant old man so get your facts right before you make judgement

A bit strong there WildCat.... wouldn't wish anyone dead over this. But you can see Jimibeee, we've heard all this before. If we go down we go down fighting. Be happy that you got out when you did, a lot of us are now living the nightmare that is Royal Mail and will do so for a while.

I would. strike breakers, managers, ill-informed scumbags who come on here for a wind-up and of course the two parasites at the top and their chums in Westminster.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
