Have heard recently that the owners of the building that houses the new Post Office & WHSmiths have put in for planning permission to demolish the building block (also occupied by Mothercare and MacDonalds amongst others) for 'redevelopment'. Makes you wonder why the owners didn't mention it when the idea of moving the Post Office was mentioned.
