Christmas Opening hours

Post by samie »

I work in one of the “very busy” sub-post office. All last week and and today too, I have been asked nearly a thousand times by our customers with regards to the Post Office opening hours over the Christmas and the New Year period. I had to say, “The Post Office have not given us any times appertaining to the said.

Don’t you think it is time that the Post Office customers knew when they could collect their pensions etc.

I think it is a shame on the Post Office for not providing this information

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

times - Woking does not open at 8.30!!!
I know - I went there for nothing!!

I'm afraid a lot of the online opening times are wrong. Some by the odd half hour, right up to tiny offices having their hours tripled! When I was travelling round I noted all this in the space on my report, yet 2+ years later I can still see the wrong opening times on the web.

Why ask for the info. if they were going to do nothing with it and why not take that part of the system off-line if they cannot be bothered to sort it out?
