A SENIOR manager from the Post Office will go ‘back to the floor’ in a North-East branch on Monday (December 17).
Chief executive Paula Vennells will be at the branch in Crown Street, Darlington, to give staff a helping hand in the manic final week before Christmas.
Ms Vennells has worked for the Post Office since 2007, in a number of senior roles, including managing director.
She became chief executive on April 1, having previously worked for Unilever and L’Oreal.

How can she go 'back' to somewhere she has never worked????? Laughable! I wonder if she'll still think counter staff are 'over paid shop assistants' after spending a couple of hours with customers moaning about queues....
