Holiday relief for sub postoffices

Hello, I am leaving the counter crown network after working for 32 years, mainly on the counter in the Boston lincs area and am looking to do holiday relief and wondered what the going rate is, do I need my own liability insurance and is anyone looking for cover. I am happy to travel a reasonable distance too and can also look after pets etc too.
I am leaving purely to do some volunteer work plus relief work.
