colleague shares

As you are already aware of and proud to have negotiated, at the end of June all Royal Mail staff received £100 from colleague shares and a promise of the union looking to secure fairness for staff. The cwu stated then they would have to negotiate seperately with Post Office. This surely isn't difficult and should have been done at the same time so all staff involved in the origional sham got the same deal at the same time. The cwu should hold their heads in shame. Their whole policy is about fairness yet have clearly ignored the minority of the members and struck a deal with Royal Mail. This deal should have been across the board and the CWU have really shown they are not working for all members equally. This stinks and all Post Office staff have been shafted here, why would Post Office LTD now ever say ok we will pay all staff a payment that Royal Mail should have paid but didn't, not Post Office LTD'S problem and the cwu obviously haven't had any luck trying to get a payment out of Post office or it would have been paid at the same time as Royal Mail. WHY HAVE POST OFFICE STAFF BEEN LET DOWN BY THE CWU? WHY HAVE THE CWU SORTED A DEAL FOR THE MAJORITY OF MEMBERS BUT LEFT THE OTHERS OUT IN THE COLD? IF THE CWU DISAGREE WITH THIS WHY HAVE THEY NOT CORRESPONDED WITH MEMBERS? THE WAY THE POST OFFICE CWU MEMBERS HAVE BEEN TREATED IS NOTHING SHORT OF DIABOLICAL AND IS SURELY NOT HOW CWU ETHICS OF FAIRNESS TO ALL MEMBERS WORKS?
I have sent the above to Dave Ward at the CWU and don't expect a positive response but feel happier now I have ranted.

its an unofficial board don't forget. However, I am hopeful they have lurkers on here to try and gauge the feeling of members, so your message will have been heard, if not replied to.
