RM Spending Money At Google?

Post by Rizla »

I just got home and wanted to look at the CWU's Website and so I opened up Google and did a search for the CWU. Guess what was the first result displayed on Google's list of results? None other than Royal Mail!!! They were at the top of the results page and appear there as a "Sponsored Link". Although they have no money and are making a "HUGE LOSS", they can still find the cash to pay Google so that their name appears FIRST on a search for the CWU.

And this is what happens when you click their "link".

With Google AdWords you can reach people when they are actively looking for your products and services. That means you receive targeted visitors and customers. Cost-per-click pricing means you only pay when people click on your ad and it is easy to control costs.

Sound a good investment to me.

Thanks for the explanation Freespeech but I wasn't "Actively" doing a search on RM....I was looking for the CWU site.

Yes, it is a "good investment", as you say, and if RM only pays for every "click", then let's get clicking!!!!!!!

Sorry, but people get over excited at pretty much anything.

If some of them put half as much energy in to their work as they do to anything that can go against it we'd be in a pretty sound position

Well said, Axeman; good shout! It's really strange how Armani finds the time, strength or energy to reply to posts on here. You'd think he'd devote every last second of his gifted time to his precious "WORK", wouldn't you? Well, he obviously doesn't practice what he preaches - SHAME ON HIM..! (Troll)

Ohh come on.

£10 approx per hour. Better than any other shop/bank/store/financial/courier company on the highstreet.

If its so bad then why not go find a better ''non skilled'' job on the street.

I think you'll have a hard job trying to find one. no pun intended

You can't compare this job to other 'unskilled' jobs you mention armani,
there is no job like a postman, couriers have it easy compared to us,
we might have had it easy 3/4 years ago before SDD but not anymore

RESIGNS, All done by BLUESHIRTS!!! Then you have the coders now MDEC workers. HGV Drivers. SKILLED people.... As the crash a screw had when we last went on strike!!! Untrained and liable if not up to standards required by law... Nice work RM... Its not just a delivery and delivery people that work and come on here and the job of unskilled delivering is IMHO A skilled job if done by the book.... It wasnt an accident that RM WAS the best in the world... Its because managers managed and taught... Now screws just bark and put down the workers..
