Quite right, they have 9 machines I understand. I wouldn't worry too much though, if they are as reliable as the piece of junk in our office it will require MORE staff to run around clearing label and coin jamsjune50 wrote:ive been off today but have had a few messages reguarding the wtl session this morning. they have said post office are rolling out a new programme starting in birmingham, with three people serving on counter and everyone else meeting/greeting and running new post and gos, car tax and bureau machines. is this right?
Apparently they are 'upgrading' the machines to take the money for PostShop merchandise and pay for RMSDs.
Doesn't take a great leap of the imagination to scan the barcode on your bill and insert the correct cash does it?
As an aside we were left manager-less one day. It was a very quiet day but we managed to do 20% of the weeks sales target with no warm-ups, updates etc. Felt pretty pleased with ourselves. Only for the boss to return and say "The 3-letter-acronym says we are not putting enough postage through the P&G". That's probably because it's broken most of the time but a subsequent email from above advised us that this was not an acceptable excuse! Defies logic, doesn't it!
